TRAINING 

Future Gold Sport Horses also offers training services for English sport horses (Jumping/Dressage). Our training is based on the German training scale ( rhythm, suppleness, connection, impulsion, straightness, & collection) to achieve a balanced, happy horse. Future Gold Sport Horses looks at the whole horse when evaluating them for training; this includes the health of the horse, hoof care, balanced nutrition, proper saddle, and tack fit before we even start training to be sure we have the horses best interest in mind. We work closely with our vets, chiropractor, saddle fitter, and farrier to achieve the optimal outcome for horse and rider.

 

I have a solid dressage foundation using classical training methods. This includes how to influence the horse best through your body and seat aids. To work with you horses natural balance and be a centered and balanced rider. Working on suppling/straightening and slowly strengthening the horse through each stage of their training, not rushing or pushing the horse past his/her limit. I like to work at the horses pace and push when the horse is ready and happy to take on more.  I like to build my horses confidence by setting them up for success from the vary beginning  By building trust and showing the horse how to use their bodies with confidence and submission you start to have a happy, willing, dance partner.

I have worked with a variety of horses/breeds at different levels but my passion is working with green and young sport horses giving them a solid foundation on the  ground and under saddle. This includes, tying, bathing, clipping, learning to lunge with balance and rhythm in and out of the round pen. Also desensitizing with trails and barn surroundings. Under saddle my focus is that they learn how to walk, trot, canter with rhythm and suppleness while being on the aids. I also work with riders to help them gain balance, learn connection, and communication through the aids, strengthening the partnership between the rider and the horse.
